The US Embassy is seeking an individual for the position of Public Health Specialist-Sexual Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and ji Prevention. e
Basic Function of Position
The job holder is responsible for the coordination, management, monitoring and evaluation of the USG CDC Sexual Prevention activities required to achieve results under the U.S President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). The job holder works under the supervision of the Prevention Team Lead to expand relationships with and provide technical assistance and oversight to host country government agencies and implementing partner organizations, including, the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MOHSW), the National AIDS Control Program (NACP), Zanzibar AIDS Control Program (ZACP),Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS), Higher learning institutions, Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and Faith-based Organizations (FBOs) in the implementation and strengthening of HIV prevention activities in Tanzania. The incumbent provides comprehensive technical, managerial advice and assistance in support for local and international partners.
