BBC Media Action is looking to hire a research agency to conduct a baseline survey across Tanzania in February 2014 to assess young people’s knowledge, attitudes and practices with respect to major lifestyle and governance issues.
BBC Media Action is designing a media programme to be broadcast nationally in Tanzania targeted at people aged 15 to 30 years old.
The programme is due to be on air in August 2014 and it will aim at providing a platform for young people to discuss issues that matter to them and to encourage their participation in the democratic processes of Tanzania. As part of the monitoring and evaluation activities for the programme, BBC Media Action would like to conduct a baseline survey across Tanzania in February 2014 to assess young people’s knowledge, attitudes and practices with respect to major lifestyle and governance
Proposals submitted in response to this RFP should address the research objectives set out in this brief and should be written in English.
The full proposal, including both technical and financial components, should be no more than 20 pages.
The proposal should be written in a font no smaller than 11 point. Annexes may be included with the proposal, and will not count against the 20 page maximum limit.
