Job Description – Finance Manager

• Location: Dar es Salaam
• Duration: 84 days

Specific duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Oversee financial management including any fund disbursement, requests and acquittals
• Preparing and submitting accounts;

• Prepare and manage monthly financial statements;
• Maintain rolling cash flow projection;
• Update finance risk assessments; and
• Train and mentor staff on the use of the financial system.

Required Skills:

• Diploma from a recognized college or its equivalent preferably in Finance and Economics;
• Fluency in both Swahili and English (written and spoken);
• A minimum of 5 years full time experience in a similar position involving finance and management;
• Previous experience with DFID (essential);
• Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Word and Excel), email, and internet; and
• Organization/attention to detail; ability to be proactive and take initiative; ability to work independently without extensive oversight.
