The Commercial Director will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of the Commercial division (social marketing and medical clinics), as well as developing the strategic plans for the division, including the opportunity analysis, gaps and growth trends for Marie Stopes Uganda (MSU).  These enterprises require leadership that is commercially focused to allow for continued expansion including new product launches, and in the development and implementation of updated marketing plans to improve profitability of the current product portfolio.

You will be experienced within sales and marketing, product and project management together with business development within either the pharmaceutical or other over the counter fast moving consumer goods. You will have previous leadership skills within this area together with strong analytical skills which enable you to sustain a close and collaborative partnership with the relevant support office and field staff teams, so as to enable the team to be focused in achieving their project and operational activities.

We work in every district of Uganda and provide approximately 65% of all modern contraception, the majority of which is delivered in hard to reach and remote areas.
