You bring an outside-in perspective on customers, the competition and marketplace dynamics. As the customer advocate, you own the marketing strategy for a specific audience to ensure we understand their needs. In this role, we need broad thinkers who can collaboratively engage with customers and partners to identify and achieve mutually beneficial results.
You will create an audience marketing plan for IT professionals, IT decision makers or developers, including new investments that increase business growth. You will develop and implement readiness plans for a product line or geography that drive channel capacity and skills to meet audience goals. You will ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of audience-specific marketing content to the field through the analysis of engine utilization and effectiveness, and the optimization of existing engines.
Responsibilities:
- Drive recommendations for investments that increase marketing opportunity.
- Develop and drive audience marketing plans to achieve mutually agreed upon business results for Microsoft and partners.
- Engage directly with key audience stakeholders to drive execution, adapting plans and investments accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing an MBA
- Ability to be a strong audience advocate
- Ability to see areas where there is opportunity for growth and partnership
- Understanding sales models and how products land with customers
