Bid Manager

Job description
Bid Manager supports, proposal development, Services Costing & Pricing, solution design & delivery process execution services, to any qualified and selected ITS(Integrated Technology services) opportunity. This includes identification and deployment from all other services offered by the Sales Transaction Hub and deployment will be from Opportunity Selection through to contract signature.

Responsibilities
Receive / Take ownership of Deal Workflow Folder
Create Bid Plan
Set up Kick Off Meeting if required
Assist with securing Bid resources
Schedule regular/daily progress calls with the team, and publish action log.
Schedule clinic Calls, as appropriate, to highlight issues, obtain guidance or to update business on Bid progress
Co-ordinate document input from all parties and circulate as appropriate
Provide overall Proposal Management as required and act as the conduit for Publishing and ICAP resource, when required
Obtain cost model / Estimates / 3rd Party Quotes
Ensure Procurement have been involved with 3rd Party quotes
Work with teams to establish Commercial model for bid ie, agree to reach winning price, include expenses
Pricing & Costing of OEM and Sub contracted services for Opportunities
Co-ordinate appropriate reviews as per release process
Arrange Release calls
Circulate proposal/contract + pricing to all on release call
All evidences/Approvals, Credit Check, Reviews, etc reviewed and in place prior to release
Ensures all required evidences are stored within the designated repository in line.
Engage in sales opportunities to deliver proposals, contracts, pricing approvals in assistance to Sellers / Business Partners,
Understand client requirements and ensure proposal documentation is fully compliant with client specifications and requirements
Use appropriate collaborative / business tools and templates and coordinate IBM sales team and other supporting departments to produce deliverables according to client’s expectations, within time critical schedules
Ensure satisfactory audit and review posture is maintained: through compliance with all relevant aspects of the Solution Design and Delivery process
Utilize foreign language skills while engaging and cultivating relationships with Sellers, Business Partners and a variety of IBM functions
Enjoys working as part of a team and Ability to work under pressure
Good Communication and negotiations skills
Ability to work with all levels of staff and management
Decision-maker
Competence in using IBM, and Industry Standard Office Products
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years experience in Strong organisational and project management skills
  • At least 3 years experience in Strong understanding of costing, relevant taxes to be applied and shaping it up for pricing of services deals.
  • At least 3 years experience in Team leadership
  • English: Fluent
Preferred
  • Accounting/Finance
  • At least 5 years experience in Strong organisational and project management skills
