Narrative Description
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Administration, the intern will provide reception coverage including processing telephone calls, conference room reservations, and food and beverage orders. The intern will learn to be resourceful, multi-tasking and become team and customer service oriented.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service as first point of contact to IATA stakeholders and customers;
- Assist in processing Conference Center reservations and events including room rentals, use of audio-visual and video-conferencing equipment, and food and beverage orders;
- Assist in gathering statistics and providing management reports for reception and conference center activities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Current bachelor university student; Customer oriented and team player;
- Computer literate - ability to learn how to operate and troubleshoot audio-visual and video-conferencing equipment;
- Oral and written proficiency in English and French.
