About the role
Offered as a 6- 12 month contract starting early January 2014 and reporting to the Procurement and Logistics Manager, the Procurement and Logistics Officer is responsible for the routine purchasing and logistics operations of the Procurement and Logistics Department, ensuring that it works with and delivers efficient and effective procurement logistics support to MSI country programmes.
This includes:
*Handling purchaser requisitions
*Raising purchase orders
*Liaising with the warehouse and freight forwarders maintaining records
*Responding to queries and addressing issues.
*Document management of inventory and purchasing records
*Ensuring that system information is keyed in accurately and the procurement system is updated as and when required
About you
We see you bringing to the role solid administrative experience ideally within a procurement or logistics environment, with great attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be pro choice on abortion.
