Title: IT ASSISTANT (AUDIO VISUAL)

REPORTS TO: ICT Director

Description

The Audio Visual Technician maintains the school’s AV equipment and supports the use and users of the AV equipment. Selected candidate would be expected to start at least by 1^st February, 2014:-

The IT Assistant reports to the ICT Director.

Requirements:

Qualification/Experience

●     At least a degree/diploma in Audio-Visual/related IT course.

●     Broad knowledge and understanding of Audio-Visual equipments, its set-up & maintenance.

●     Good knowledge of using Windows/Macintosh platforms for AV purposes

●     At least 2 years experience in managing AV systems in medium or large size organizations

●      Experience in managing AV systems, devices & controls for drama, theatre and musical productions.

Additional Requirements

●     Fluent English and Kiswahili speaker/reader/writer

●     Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi cultural society

●     Ability to work independently in an organized manner, conscious of time.

●     Strong analytical skills.
