Heifer International currently supports a wide portfolio of livestock development projects including the East Africa Dairy Development (EADD-2) ; which is an ambitious five-year program designed to transform the lives of resource poor farming families through a competitive and inclusive dairy value chain in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
In light of this, Heifer International Tanzania is seeking to recruit fifteen (15) project staff for East Africa Dairy Development Project in Tanzania .

POSITION: Drivers (4 Posts)
LOCATION: Mbeya (2 Posts), Njombe (1 Post) and Iringa (1 Post)

The ideal candidate for the position should have Vehicle Management certificate and at least five (5) years of experience in Driving / Mechanic, a valid drivers' license and extensive driving experience. He/ she should be a mature person and have basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics. Must be a team player and capable of working with minimum supervision .The driver take charge of overall day-to-day vehicle management in accordance with the vehicle use and maintenance policies and procedures. Consult and get approvals from Project Manager and Cluster Team leaders on all vehicle maintenance and repairs before actual work is carried out

- Able to cope with the demand of duties which might require extra hours of working
- Managing and executing multiple tasks.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate in English and Kiswahili.
