The role
We are currently seeking a PPP Expert for Secondary Towns Integrated Urban Environmental Improvement Project (STIUEIP), to work closely with our other specialists in Nepal
He will responsible for,
- Determine/Study the potential for private sector participation for the subprojects.
- Carry out necessary investor survey.
- Prepare contract documents to be used by PIU for private sector participation in subprojects.
- Assist the PIU in cooperating with other development partners and projects to facilitate and achieve the project outcomes.
- Prepare Business Plan and provide recommendation to the municipality and other concerned service providers for the best/sustainable arrangement under the project.
- Provide sufficient training and institutional support required for strengthening/establishing the municipality for effective operations and maintenance of the newly constructed systems.
- Attend project meeting and assist the TL in preparation of various project reports.
Suitable applicants will have/be:
- PhD or M.Sc. Degree in Law, MBA, Engineering, Architecture or similar plus any course related to PPP or similar of more than 1 month ,Masters Degree in Law, MBA, Engineering, Architecture or similar,Bachelor degree in Law, MBA, Engineering, Architecture or similar ,None of the above degree.
- Experience in Projects Implementation similar in drain, sewerage systems, sewerage treatment plant and road projects,Experience working as PPP Specialist OR similar position,International Experience in similar projects (outside home country), will add more value.
The program will commence Early 2013 and run for 05 month.
