Well Travelled Clinics Ltd (WTC) is a subsidiary company of the commercial arm of the world renowned Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM). Due to the expansion of our services, we are in the process of strengthening the clinical team and we are looking to recruit to the post of Occupational Health Physician for the Travel Clinic.

Duties will include:

• Ensuring the development, oversight and implementation of the establishment of new occupational health assessment and surveillance services for all LSTM employees and its subsidiaries, and in future, to other external occupational health clients.
• Providing up to date, evidence-based information and advice and expert occupational and travel risk assessment to clients of the travel clinic, with an aim to reduce ill health in travellers abroad from infectious, parasitic and environmental hazards.
• Participating in the on-going development and management support of WTC.

Ideally you will be an Occupational Health Physician with interest and experience in Travel medicine. MBBS or equivalent essential with full GMC registration. DOccMed and AFOM essential. MFOM or FFOM desirable. Foundation or Diploma in Travel Health and/or DTM&H is desirable but not essential.

Hours of work will be 3-4 clinic sessions per week, generally worked Monday to Friday to fit the needs of the clinic schedules however, some shift working may be necessary, and may involve being part of rota for clinics on weekday evenings.
