Reporting to the Commission Secretary
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordination of Complaints, Legal and Enforcement work in the Commission.
- Preparation of work plans and budgets
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies and any other public or private institution and or any other relevant body for the purpose of investigations.
Requirements:
- Have a Bachelors Degree in Law LLB from a recognized university.
- Have seven (7) years experience in legal work.
- Must have a Postgraduate Diploma from the Council for Legal Education.
- Must have been admitted to the role of advocates and have a current practicing certificate.
2. Legal Officer
NCIC Grade 5
Reporting to the Assistant Director Investigations and Enforcement.

- Analysis of complaints
- Preparation of legal opinion
- Review of bills and legislation
- Analysis of investigation reports
- Any other duties assigned.
Requirements:
- Have a Bachelor of Law Degree from a recognized university
- Have a post graduate diploma from the Council for Legal Education
- Have been admitted to the Roll of Advocates
- Have served for a minimum of three years in the legal profession
- Experience in Peace Building or discrimination or training in the same.
3. Assistant Director Finance and Administration
NCIC Grade 3
Reporting to the Commission Secretary.

- Ensuring effective management of Financial and Administrative functions.
- Preparations of budgets, financial and management accounts.
- Ensuring compliance to corporate and statutory financial and administrative requirements.
- Supervision of Administration section.
Requirements:
- Masters in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent.
- Competency in Accounting and Financial Management with CPA (K).
- High level of integrity with a minimum working period of 8 years, five (5) of which must have been in senior management position.
4. Project Finance Officer

- Administration of project budgets.
- Planning of financial resources.
- Preparation of reports.
Requirements:
- Have a Bachelors Degree in Commerce (Accounting or Finance option) and passed Part III of the Certified Public Accountants Examination.
- At least five years experience in Finance or Accounts.
- Extensive knowledge of financial and procurement regulations of the Government of Kenya.
- Knowledge and understanding of donor reporting requirements.
5. Senior Research Officer
NCIC Grade 4
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Research

- Carrying out research on specific areas relating to the provisions of the National Cohesion and Integration Commission Act 2008.
Requirements:
- Have served for at least five (5) years in the Social Research profession in the Public or Private sector, three (3) of which must have been in a senior management level.
- Have a Masters Degree or equivalent in training or experience in Social Science.
- Have strong organizational, analytical and research skills.
- Be creative, innovative and results oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have thorough report writing skills and dissemination skills.
- Be proficient in computer applications.
6. Information and Communication Technology Officer
NCIC Grade 5
Reporting to the Senior Administrative Officer.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Designing appropriate Database for the Commission.
- Overseeing installation of computer systems.
- Providing support to the departments with regard to IT needs, including Email.
- Validation and certification of ICT equipment.
- Updating website.
Requirements:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science from a recognized university.
- Have worked for a minimum of three (3) years in ICT profession and demonstrated competence in a busy environment.
- Have additional qualifications such as Oracle Certification, Cisco or any other.
