Voxiva, Inc., a leading provider of mobile health information solutions, seeks an innovative Product Manager to join its US team. Based in Washington DC Headquarters, the Product Manager will support the development and management effort for Voxiva's portfolio of mobile health behavior change services. These services include the award-winning Text4Baby service (www.text4baby.org), the recently launched Text2Quit service (www.text2quit.com) and a number of other products in development focusing on diabetes, heart disease and other chronic diseases. The services are highly interactive behavioral change programs that lead a participant through the process of improving their health by interacting with a combination of text/e-mail/web/mobile app interfaces. The ideal candidate will have either health education (such as a Master in Public health) or heath sector experience (such as health IT, public health, health plan or provider) and a strong interest in technology. Responsibilities include:

Product Development:

• Provide support in building business cases, based on sales input, on the product development priorities
• Assist the product development team in ensuring that Voxiva can succeed with the defined product based on market analysis, target customer needs and the competitive landscape
• Help guide the design team in the customization of solutions for clients that have the potential to evolve into products
• Develop product use cases, testing their value and incorporating them into the service description
• Identify content partners and work with the product development team to create the content for the HealthConnect application
• Work with Voxiva's Technical Solutions team to develop, test and iterate the product
• Support the Voxiva Marketing team effort in the launching and promotion of product
• Maintain the solution and product demonstration systems

Sales Support/ Interaction

• Assist the sales organization through the process of jointly defining the priorities for developing Voxiva's portfolio of services
• Support the sales organization with customer engagements and presentations on the HealthConnect applications
• Assist the sales organization with the development of proposals involving Voxiva's services
• Development of the content for market facing collateral on Voxiva's HealthConnect applications including web materials, customer presentations and product fact sheets
• Delivering customer demonstrations on the HealthConnect services

Qualifications

Required

• BA/BS degree; MPH preferred or similar health-related qualifications.
• Knowledge of the US healthcare market, trends and business needs.
• Willing to travel from time to time (up to 5% of the time).

Preferred

• Minimum 1-3 years experience in product management or development with a focus on health communications, behavioral change or disease management
• Experience working with health care provider teams; experience managing health IT from a provider/customer perspective
• Experience with software product development and implementation teams and a solid understanding of realistic requirements of complex healthcare software solutions
• Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
• Proven strategic product development and marketing skills
• Solutions-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong team collaboration, organizational and planning skills
