Uganda - Programme Director

The British Council in Uganda is looking for a qualified individual to fill the post of 'Programme Director'.

Job aim:
To provide oversight and direction to a country portfolio of operational programmes and to generate new project proposals, partnerships and business, in support of the British Council’s overall purpose.

Main duties and responsibilities:
Leadership of Programme Team
Business management and partnership development
Programme coordination
Strategic management
Essential skills, knowledge and qualifications:
A degree in a related discipline
Experience in business management and financial planning
Excellent leadership skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Essential behaviours:

Being accountable
Making it happen
Shaping the future
Working together
