Senior Manager - Advisory Consulting (Finance Effectiveness)

Description

We are looking for individuals to join PwC Middle East’s rapidly developing Consulting practice, at Senior Manager level, who have experience of operating at a senior level in their home country. Ideally we are looking for bilingual individuals with experience of working across multiple industry sectors.

The role will be to lead the Finance Effectiveness business in Qatar working with the Partner/Director Team in Qatar and the regional Consulting team, providing finance consulting services across a range of clients and industries. The successful individual will provide a range of finance consulting services to clients to transform their Finance Functions in particular focussing on the vision for the Finance Function, corporate performance management, operating model, use of shared services and technology, speed and efficiency of the reporting process and embedding regulatory changes into business as usual.

Qualifications / Skills

Technical Skills Required:

• CA / ACCA / CPA qualified;
• 6-8 years advisory experience with a Big 4 firm;
• Finance Transformation experience and track record – including familiarity with key ERP/CPM IT platforms;

Desired Skills:

• Bilingual (English and Arabic);
• Desire to enhance technical skills.

Business Skills Required:

• Motivated to provide high quality client service;
• Strong project management skills & experience of working on large engagements;
• Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues & clients at all levels;
• Adaptable to various work environments;
• Willingness to travel (20%).

• You will have a key management role on FE assignments where you will utilise & further develop your knowledge & skills.

• You will also be involved with: training, managing & appraising staff.

• You will be able to work autonomously without the need for day to day direction.
