Context

HD PLUS GmbH is headquartered in Unterföhring near Munich and is a subsidiary of satellite provider ASTRA, which belongs to the Luxembourgish satellite company SES. HD PLUS GmbH was founded in May 2009 and markets the HD+ product, an additional range of channels in high definition (HD) via satellite. The open HD+ platform brings popular free TV channels to the market with high definition quality. The range of HD+ channels currently comprises RTL HD, Sat.1 HD, ProSieben HD, VOX HD, kabel eins HD, RTL II HD, N24 HD, TELE 5 HD, SPORT1 HD, Nickelodeon HD, COMEDY CENTRAL HD, sixx HD, SUPE RTL HD and DMAX HD. Each HD+ receiver also transmits the unencrypted HD channels Das Erste HD, ZDF HD, ARTE HD, ServusTV HD and Anixe HD.

Responsibilities

• Conception and maintenance of high availability IT systems linked to the departments Customer Relationship Management and Business Data Reporting
• Independent development of business reports according to terms determined by the company management on the base of diverse data base
• Support at maintenance and development of our Customer Relationship Management System by supervising our development service provider
• Contact person for our B2B costumers
  

Experience / Qualifications

• Completed academic studies in the field of commercial information technology or similar education
  2-3 years working experience in handling data banks (preferably Oracle) and knowledge of developing reports (ideally with business objects)
• Interest on dealing with numbers and their identification
• Accurate, reliable and self-dependent method of working
• Solid computer skills (MS-Office)
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and German language
• Strong capability to work with a team and communicational skills
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
