World Vision Tanzania is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the following position:
Purpose of the Position
The Microfranchising Pilot Project Manager will take on overall responsibility for the management of the ongoing Microfranchising Pilot Project. Among their responsibilities, s/he will initiate and manage relationships with key partners (microfranchise organizations), engage field offices and internal staff towards achieving the goals of the pilot, facilitate project activities such as ADP selection, recruitment, training, etc, and manage the monitoring and evaluation of the project, ensuring that key lessons are captured.
Major Responsibilities
• Develop & manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Facilitate project activities (e.g. ADP selection, recruitment, training, etc)
• Capture learning and build an evidence base on the project approach
• Create & disseminate communications materials (case studies, reports etc)
• Manage the collection, analysis and reporting of monitoring data
• Manage and report on the project budget
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
Educational level required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field. Project Management or International Development qualifications a bonus.
Professional experience: 3-5 years experience in business or economic development. Community development experience a bonus.

• Knowledge of business principles and systems
• Self motivated, able to work effectively alone and provide self direction
• Effective project management
• Able to adapt to challenging, changing circumstances and apply innovative approaches to solve problems
• Clear and transparent communicator
• Understanding of M&E, data management
• Able to produce appealing, professional communications materials (visuals, reports, etc)
• Computer literate (Essential: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, Email)
• Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
• Attend and participate in daily devotions and weekly Chapel services.
• Able and willing to travel to rural areas as required.
