The successful candidates will demonstrate: High integrity Creative & Innovative Negotiations skills Strong Interpersonal skills Good team player Organizations skills Excellent communication skills Strong analytical skills Computer literate Strong relationship building skills Result orientated Strong commercial sense COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE Reports to: Brand & Communications Manager Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the Brand & Communications Manager in the formulation of the Uganda Telecom brand PR annual plan for both external and internal audiences Prepare announcements, Press releases and Product and service FAQs Liaise with radio stations across the country ensuring they are well briefed on Uganda telecom products and services and well versed with company promotions Support the Brand & Communications Manager and other marketing staff in the design and production of print and advertising campaigns Write and review the content on the Web ensuring it remains current at all times Provide digital and film photography for publications and to record special events Monitor Communications budget, maintains key media database and- provides budget reports to the Manager Marketing Communications Perform a variety of editorial duties such as laying out, revising content of written materials in preparation for final layout and publication Maintain a repository of internal communications materials

Requirement: A Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism or Business Administration 3-5 years Media and marketing experience (agency or corporate) Background in creating marketing communications materials and content. Knowledge of principles of public communications and working knowledge of graphics packages will be an added advantage
