SOLUTIONS CONSULTANT
Reports To: Enterprise Sales Solution Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To provide the technical support to the Segment Sales Teams in customer prospecting, including requirements gathering, discussions, meetings, presentations, exhibitions, seminars and proposals
- To supervise and coordinate the implementation of complex customerprojects to completion
- To prepare bid documents in response to major tenders related to IT and Telecommunications.
- To provide information and training to the sales team on new or future IT or Telecom products/technologies, being considered for deployment by Uganda telecom.
- To help the Segment Sales Teams to achieve the set monthly revenue targets
- Ensuring that Uganda Telecom conforms to investors’ expectations by supplying relevant investor briefings relating to all Solutions Engineering, as required by the Manager Business Solution.

Requirement:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Telecommunications/ Computer Science/Information Technology or related field with IT Certification like Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CSE (Cisco Sales Expert), with practical hands-on experience.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in the IT, Telecommunications and Sales environment.
- Experience in preparing business cases, business analysis
