Context

This position participates in the consolidation of the SES Group financial planning. It interfaces directly with the other finance professionals across SES in support of financial planning and analysis activities, as well as it contributes to the development and preparation of SES Executive Committee and Board of Director documents. 

Responsibilities

·         Take part to the forecasting, budgeting and business planning processes for the SES Group consolidated figures, which includes the following major areas:

-       Ensure proper settings of Financial Planning & Analysis tools

-       Prepare and enhance standalone and consolidated financial models

-       Provide active support to other finance professionals during the planning processes

-       Ensure deadlines are met; take responsibility for data integrity and consistency

-       Carry out specific tasks during the planning cycle (e.g. reconcile and validate intercompany transactions, prepare and book consolidation adjustments)

·         Provide high quality / comprehensive looking forward financial analysis

·         Participate in review cycles and ensure the follow-up of Management's decisions

·         Support other Finance projects as required (e.g. treasury & tax planning, IT system improvements, business development projects)

Experience / Qualifications

• University degree in Finance
• 3-5 years of Finance experience in a commercial/advisory environment
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills
• Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel
• Fluency in English
• German and/or French are an asset
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to present and articulate business issues clearly & concisely
• Very strong analytical and problem solving skills
• General level of curiosity to gain understanding of key business drivers

The position’s main deliverables are:

• Development of accurate and timely financial planning for the Group
• Clear and concise analysis of key business issues
• Contribute in delivering high quality EC and Board of Director presentation materials
• Maintain strong relationship with the finance and business colleagues across SES
