Senior Associate - RAS (IT External Audit)

Description

1. Plans and executes assigned IT external audits for assurance department clients.

2. Participate in IT risk assessment projects.

3. Create audit programs with the guidance of Manager, review working papers and report’s findings.

4. Provides an independent opinion regarding the adequacy and effectiveness of management’s IT and operations controls.

5. Prepares IT external audit reports on the adequacy and effectiveness of control structure, along with practical recommendations to improve the effectiveness, efficiency of a control or process.

6. Able to discuss and resolve audit issues and recommendations with client  management.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Minimum 3 Years of experience in IT external and/or internal audit
• An degree and/or formal qualification are required
• Certified Information System  Auditor (CISA) designation is a must
• Comprehensive knowledge of IT auditing standards and techniques
• Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English ( exceptional non-Arabic speakers will be considered)
• Experience in process documentation, audit planning/execution and report writing
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management

Key Responsibilites

1. Supervises and provides coaching to associates.

2. Provide IT audit and advice to a variety of clients.

3. Provide an on-site co-ordination role for audit clients including planning, day to day control of the audit team, liaising with clients and completing audit assignments.

4. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and established audit clients.

5. Work and liaise with other members of the audit team and colleagues in other parts of the firm as necessary to provide high quality clients service.

6. Have supervisory responsibility for teams of up to 2 people.

7. Strong IT and business awareness, sound reporting skills and the ability to work under your own initiative.
