The Capacity Building for a National Response to HIV/AIDS in Tanzania, is a UNDP supported Project in line with the Joint UNDAP programme on HIV/AIDS 2011/15 under the UN Delivering as One (DaO). It intendeds to support the development goals and priorities of Tanzania as indicated in the National Strategy for Growth and Reduction of Poverty (NSGRP) locally known as MKUKUTA for Tanzania Mainland and MKUZA for Zanzibar and related Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The Project responds to the HIV/AIDS National Multi-sectoral Strategy Framework (NMSF) for Mainland and Zanzibar National Strategic Plan (ZNSP) with Tanzania Commission for AIDS (TACAIDS) and Zanzibar AIDS Commission (ZAC) the key Implementing Partners (IPs) respectively. UNDP through the UNDAP responds to its mandate and mission in Tanzania to ensure inclusiveness of all state and non state actors in the development of the country including the Alliance of Mayors Initiatives for Community Action against AIDS at Local Level (AMICAALL). In this regard, UNV seeks to recruit an Accountant to support Capacity Building for a National Response to HIV/AIDS in Tanzania and will report to the AMICAAL Country Director.
