Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

To qualify for the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Medair requires that applicants:

1. Education and communication skills

· Hold a Secondary school Diploma or equivalent

· Are able to speak fluent English and Arabic and able to read and write English

· Are prepared to undergo various forms of training relating to the implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems

· Develop and maintain a transparent, honest and supportive communication structure with other team members as well as with other Medair staff so as to uphold a spirit of unity and mutual respect

· Are mature and reliable

2. Willingness to travel

· Are prepared to live in remote field site locations for long lengths of time throughout South Sudan’s 10 states

3. Availability

· Are available for a period of 1 year beginning March 2012
