NETWORK Engineer , Planhotel Resorts & Hotels

Planhotel Resorts & Hotels is presently recruiting a

NETWORK ENGINEER

for our resort located in the enchanting island of Zanzibar

We require:

• Minimum of one to two years' experience as an Network Engineer of a 5 star hotel.

• Minimum of two years' experience as an Network Engineer of a IT Industries.

• Have a degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed university.

• Must have sound knowledge of Protel and Fidelio.

• Sound knowledge of PC hardware and software, computer network, internet and email clients.

• Provide first level support for all hotel systems.

• Ensure the standard configurations of all properties in the hotel/s are in line with Plan Hotels Group and standard requirements. Ensure that these standards are enforced on a continual basis.

• Ensure timely back ups are performed, verified and stored appropriately.

• Ensure all hotel based systems (software / hardware) are appropriately secured.

• Genuine sense of care, focused, organized and methodical.

• Good Communication skills.

• Fluency in English

• Provide 24/7 on-call support for I.T. matters as required to ensure the smooth running of hotel operations
