The continuous galvanizing and colour coating plant (phase3) is a modern state of art plant and is the newest of all phases with the most modern technology in Sub-Saharan Africa and is expected to start production this year.
We are seeking to recruit energetic, dynamic, skilled and motivated people with zeal to perform beyond market expectations to fill the following positions.
POST: Asst. Process operator- Production (4 Positions)
Reporting to the Process operator, the job holders will have the following responsibilities:
Monitor production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
Quality Control
Record operational or production data on specified forms
Collect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing
Requirement:
The ideal candidates for the above positions should have the following:
Diploma in any of the following: Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical / Metallurgical Engineering
At least 2 years of relevant experience in coil to coil colour coating line in the iron and Steel industry
POST: Electricians (4 positions)
Reporting to the Shift Engineer, the job holders will have the following responsibilities:
Preventive and Corrective maintenance of machinery
Conditional monitoring of machinery
Repairing and maintaining electronic equipment.
POST: Fitters and welders ( 8 Positions)
Reporting to the Shift Engineer, the job holders will have the following responsibilities:
Preventive and Corrective maintenance of machinery.
General fabrication and welding work.
Requirement:
The ideal candidates for the above positions should have the following:
Diploma in any of the following: Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical / Metallurgical Engineering
At least 2 years of relevant experience in coil to coil colour coating line in the iron and Steel industry
Experience in welding and fabrication is a must.
POST: Shift Engineer- Production (4 Positions)
Reporting to the Senior Engineer, the job holders will have the following responsibilities:
Production to Machine Capacity
Maintenance,
Quality Control
Managing and Training People
Cost Control
Developing and Monitoring Standard Operating Procedure
Advising Management on the Efficiency and Effectiveness of the – Line
Requirement:
The ideal candidates for the above positions should have the following
Bachelors degree in any of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/ Metallurgical Engineering
At least 2 years of relevant experience in coil to coil colour coating line in the iron and Steel industry
Must be computer literate and Knowledge of ERP functionality would be a plus.
POST: Shift Engineer – Mechanical (4 positions)
Reporting to the Maintenance Engineer, the job holders will have the following responsibilities
Preventive and Corrective maintenance of machinery
Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs
Managing and Training People
Statutory inspection of lifting equipments, pressure vessels and other factory equipment
Advising Management on the Efficiency of machinery.
Requirement:
The ideal candidates for the above positions should have the following
Bachelors degree in any of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/ Metallurgical Engineering
At least 2 years of relevant experience in coil to coil colour coating line in the iron and Steel industry
Must be computer literate and Knowledge of ERP functionality would be a plus.
