With the help of IBM’s BAO practice, clients now can understand the consequences of any business decision allowing them to operate at a new level of intelligence, far beyond sense and respond. As a Business Analytics & Optimization (BAO) Project Manager (PM), you are directly accountable/responsible for successful project delivery of BAO technology & client engagements. You’ll provide hands-on leadership & direction to the team as well as manages client relationships and contract and financial matters.. Your expertise will also see you heavily involved in business case development. Your typical tasks will include establishing a team in a global environment (multi-site), enabling planning, risk management and communications and managing through all phases of an engagement including concept through deployment and production support. To be successful, you are likely to have gained experience in a leading consulting or systems integration organisation, project managing complex BAO projects across the development life-cycle, ideally involving the management of off-shore, local, client and third party teams. Industry expertise is a “nice to have” but not a priority for this role.
