Deloitte Consulting Ltd is looking for a potential candidate to fill the position of a Capacity Building Manager (CSOs) based in the TUNAJALI-Dar es salaam office.
The Capacity Building Manager (CSOs) will be responsible for providing and supporting capacity building activities for CSOs in the areas of leadership, planning, management and coordination on HIV and AIDS in Tanzania. The Manager will be expected to apply Government performance tools.
The Role
- Developing and support of Capacity Building Framework for CSO's;
- Carrying out organizational surveys to support the organizations in identifying their capacity questions, issues or challenges;
- Developing CSOs' performance map for Capacity Building;
- Ensuring the documentation of lessons learned from organizational survey;
- To follow-up coaching support to CSOs who have identified next steps in their organizational change processes;
- To liaise with immediate supervisor and convene general learning meetings on issues emerging from Capacity Building field experiences;
- Participating in capacity building forums actively in Deloitte learning and development throuhg structured learning, meetings in both Tanzania, East Africa and beyond;
- Filling in the growth monitoring framework immediately after each intervention or learning meeting convened by the Capacity Building team;
- Planning, monitoring and evaluating activities within the time frame of Capacity Building plans;
- Leading on the publication of training manuals and capacity building guides for the CSOs;
- Designing and delivering quality training modules on a diverse range of organizational development themes;
- Participating in the production of periodic project reports;
- Determining existing programs in the council/region to address pin point;
- Identifying and developing future leaders in order to ensure sustainability;
- Building the capacity of local CSOs in results based program planning and management;
- Identifying and prioritizing critical capacity gaps and needs and to develop organization specific capacity development plans to serve as the basis for capacity building interventions;
- Participating in Management team meetings and initiating regular meetings with regional teams and sub grantees, providing support where needed;
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
As an ideal team player, you should possess the following attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Social Science or related field;
- A Masters degree in Development Studies, Social Science or related field;
- 7 years relevant work experience of which 5 years should be at managerial level;
Other relevant skills
- Experince in instructional strengthening, mobilisation and advocacy
- Experience in training and capacity building
- Knowledge of USAID rules and regulations
