Job Title:Receiving & Dispatching Clerk
Reports To:Logistics Officer
Primary Purpose of The Job
This position will be involved primarily in ensuring that goods delivered are received immediately by raising Good Received Note (GRN) and goods transferred are properly documented and recorded
Primary Responsibilities
Assist logistics officer to coordinate logistics activities.
Assist in assessing supplier performance in terms of delivery lead time.
Ensure all goods delivered are received and handed over to stores/users immediately Keep records for raw materials movements (materials received and transferred)
Ensure raw materials received are stored in good condition and arranged properly in warehouses. Participate in raw materials stock taking
Assist in the allocation of goods across sites to optimize stock levels at all sites
Provide input in the monitoring of transport and other logistics costs
Provide support for ensuring internal compliance through monitoring and reporting
Competencies

Conversant and up to date with Materials management and transportation

Education and Skills
Completion of A Level or a Diploma from recognized institution.
Purchasing related certification from a recognized body.
One year of progressively responsible experience in purchasing, with an emphasis on inventory and logistics management
A record of continuing professional education and training to keep up-to-date with current practices, programs and technologies related to procurement.
Usage/knowledge of MS Office (Word, and Excel)
Logistics Officer , Tanzania Breweries Position Description:
The main responsibilities of this position will be to coordinates Procurement of raw materials and Clearing/Forwarding activities for the incoming materials, ensure materials are distributed to all plants at the least possible cost and balancing stock levels at all sites

Primary Responsibilities
Preparing a weekly consolidated Group raw materials report.
Stock level monitoring, by review raw materials stock levels weekly
Weekly replenishment of raw materials to all sites
Coordinates periodic stock taking of raw materials
Supervise dispatching and receiving of all raw materials
Coordination all logistics activities within the procurement department at TBL
Continuously evaluate processes and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
Manage raw materials stored in offsite hired warehouses.
Ensure raw, materials received are stored in good condition and arranged properly in warehouses.
