Inventory Control Officer

Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is a locally registered NGO first established in 1994. It is the largest indigenous provider of disability rehabilitation services in the country. CCBRT aims to improve the quality of life of people living with disabilities as well as their families and to enable them to achieve their potential.

Duties to Include:
• Assisting the Supply Manager in the supervision of all matters related to stock management
• Developing an inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling costs within budgetary limits, generating savings, rationalizing inventory and maximizing available working capital
• Implementing improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory, minimize costs, maximize availability and maximize working capital
• Developing and maintaining accurate written procedures for all main inventory control processes and functions
• Managing and controlling perpetual inventory stock counting to ensure inventory accuracy
• Providing routine management information on inventory performance
• Monitoring and evaluating usage of user departments and sub stores
• Coordinating and undertaking cyclic stock checks
• Checking and adjusting warehouse and all sub stores data collection

Work Experience / Skills:
• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in a reputable organization (E)
• Analytical Skills (E)
Qualifications:
• Higher or Advanced Diploma in Supply Management, Logistics or related field from reputable higher learning institution. (E)
