Technical Advisor Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) & Program Manager
Adeso is seeking a qualified and committed individual to join its team as Technical Advisor Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Program Manager for the Resilience and Economic Growth in Arid Lands – Improving Resilience (REGAL-IR) program in Isiolo, Kenya. This position includes frequent travel to project counties and Nairobi. The successful candidate will design and coordinate disaster risk reduction (DRR) activities and ensure that DRR is fully integrated across REGAL-IR technical components so that project activities empower communities and strengthen them to withstand the effects of drought and other shocks and disturbances.

Adeso is seeking a qualified and committed individual to join its team as Capacity-Building/Training Coordinator for the Resilience and Economic Growth in Arid Lands – Improving Resilience (REGAL-IR) program in Isiolo, Kenya. The incumbent will help achieve REGAL-IR goals and objectives through capacity-building including the design, implementation and coordination of training designs, modules, workshops, and coaching and mentoring programs for members of targeted project communities and institutions.

Communications and Program Support Intern – Badhan, Somalia
Adeso is seeking an intern to work closely with Fatima Jibrell, Adeso’s Founder and Senior Advisor, to document her life’s achievements through daily interactions and interviews, for a period of three months. The intern will subsequently act as personal assistant to Fatima Jibrell for three months, and finally, will support the program team in Somalia for the remaining six months as well as continue supporting Fatima Jibrell as required.
