Job Purpose

This is a senior management position. The incumbent reports to the Managing Director. He/she shall develop and implement the marketing and communications strategy to enable the Bank to effectively meet its business plans and objectives.

He/she shall be responsible for the following key duties, amongst others:

Develop/Review, update and implement the marketing policies and guidelines

Overall in charge of executing the bank's marketing activities.

Conduct market research and intelligence.

Manage promotions and advertisements.

Coordinate and deliver / facilitate training for staff and customers.

Develop/ Review, update and enforce the communication policy and guidelines.

Execute the bank's internal and external communications, including generating press releases and internal communication.

To leverage communications as a tool for public understanding and publicity of the bank.

Plan and execute the bank's Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.

Qualifications

Academic credentials and working experience

Possession of a minimum of a University Degree with a major in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or any other relevant Degree.

A minimum of 5 years work experience at a senior management level, preferably in a banking or financial institution.

Job competencies

Strong practical knowledge and skills in marketing and communications.

Excellent presentation skills.

Strong computer application skills (word, power point, spreadsheets, etc).

An effective team leader.

Strong personal integrity.
