Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is a
locally registered NGO first established in 1994. It is the largest indigenous
provider of disability rehabilitation services in the country. CCBRT aims to
improve the quality of life of people living with disabilities as well as their
families and to enable them to achieve their potential.
Duties to Include:
·
Repairing,
installing, maintaining and inspecting medical equipment and instrumentation
including life support equipment at CCBRT and other hospitals,
·
Repairing,
installing and maintaining and inspecting ophthalmic equipment and other
hospital equipment and machines e.g. Air Conditioners, Washer Extractors,
Driers, Ironers etc. at CCBRT and other hospitals,
·
Performing
preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing of medical devices and
systems,
·
Assisting
users of medical equipment/ provide user training
·
Keeping accurate records of new equipment,
inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, spare parts and failures by
completing job cards, machine cards and preparing reports.
·
Maintaining
equipment, tools and machinery of CCBRT Zonal Work Shop
Work Experience /
Skills:
·
Minimum
3 years relevant working experience in repair and maintenance of medical
equipment, (E)
·
Ability
to test Electronic and Electromechanical equipment (E),
·
Knowledge
of Technical aspects of electronic equipment
(E)
·
Computer
Literate (E).
Qualifications:
·
Full
Technician Certificate (F.T.C) and Certificate in Medical Engineering (E)
·
Full
Technician Certificate in Electrical or Electronics and Telecommunication (E)
E – Essential, P – Preferred
