National Housing Corporation (NHC) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of manager in its Directorate of Business Development. The positions are Marketing and Research Manager and Business Development Manager who will join the team.
The Marketing and Research Manager reports to the Director of Business Development and has overall responsibilities for management of products marketing and marketing research activities. It includes designing of product marketing & communication strategies and marketing research programs that facilitate the understanding of market and economic dynamics and thus supports strategic and tactical decisions for the (NHC).
Marketing and Research Manager (One Post) (Ref.No.MRMI 01)
Specific Duties and responsibilities:
Manage and design all activities of marketing program and strategies, brand management.
Conduct periodic marketing research, product segmentation and position strategies thus enhance the product to support quality of the NHC's portfolio of products and services.
Assume primary responsibility for driving understanding of brand needs and development and execution of strategic marketing plans.
Develop and manage internal and external product awareness and communication systems to ensure the NHC's customers and general public are appropriately informed of the NHC's product position in the market place and hence gaining' appropriate mind share in target markets.
Manage customer satisfaction measurement programs to ensure the NHC is continuously in touch with the needs and expectations of its target market.
Organize, manage and motivate staff (Human Capital) within marketing functions and other stakeholders within NHC through establishment of suitable engagement programs to implement development programs at the optimal level.
Recommend and take a leading role-in the formulation and management of preferred NHC product offerings based on Market dynamics and Economics trends to support profitability of the products.
Continuously upgrade and innovate products that are preferred by the NHC's customers.
Effective and efficient handling of third party partners to ensure support provided is adequate and prompt,
Derive and monitor insights of real estate sector market trends and competition; thus, take proactive steps to advice the Management on all business trends bearing on the Corporation's threats and opportunities.
Organize and manage all promotion and events activities for the corporation's products and services.
Evaluate return on investment of marketing programs and manage expenses to a budget coupled with effective negotiation skills for best value on behalf of NHC.
Qualifications and Experience
A holder of University Degree in Business Administration with at least 7 years of relevant work experience, 4 years of which at a managerial level.
Marketing practitioner with proven successful brands performance track records.
Knowledge of Fast Moving Consumers Goods (FMCG), Real Estate or Financial Services Industry. Leadership, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Proven records and experiences in handling designing of marketing program and strategies, Brand management, marketing research, manage introduction of new products and services, and to develop product segmentation and position strategies.
Business Development Manager (One Post) (Ref. No. DBM/02)
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Management of potential new business opportunities, that include monitoring and handling of all administrative matters pertaining to first stage engagement with the corporation's strategic business partners.
Interpretation of market study and data to design preliminary project brief that provide guidance to the decision-making process for planning, design and investment of the projects.
Management and coordination of all Master Plan of (Satellite Cities) and Strategic projects from inception stage, approvals and execution while ensuring the business viability of the project is a priority to the corporation.
Develop, maintain seamless database of the report, minutes of the meeting and correspondence with all investors that have been engaged with NHC and ensure exit or closure of the decision to the completion.
Coordinate and liaison with marketing and research team to develop the Terms of Reference (TOR) that facilitate periodic studies for the industry, sector specific, project specific and thus the report to facilitate investment decision process.
Periodic evaluation of the current NHCs project delivery approach through as Revenue Sharing Model (RSM), Design and Build and Trading Construction and produce the report that facilitate decision making process based on project durations to completions, cost and quality management delivery principles.
Qualifications and Experience:
A holder of University Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Real Estate with at least 7 years of relevant work experience, 4 year of which at a managerial level. postgraduate will be added advantage.
Business Analyst with proven successful performance track records.
Good Leadership, communications, negotiation and presentation skills.
Knowledge of Real Estate or Financial Services Industry.
Ability to identify and analyze property Investment vehicles.
Ability to structure tactical and strategic asset allocation strategies; develop product segmentation and position strategies.
