Senior Research Manager- Financial Services

The PricewaterhouseCoopers Middle East Financial Services Industry Group is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Research Manager to join their team in Dubai. The successful candidate would have the opportunity to be responsible for establishing a Research Unit within the Advisory Business Unit in the Middle East.

Responsibilities
The person would be responsible for establishing a Research Unit within the Advisory Line of Service in PwC ME. The prime role would be to create this unit as a strategic value driver for consulting and deals teams and provide economic, industry and issue specific research to the client facing teams.  The role of the head of this research unit would be to establish the operating framework, hire appropriate resources, provide guidance to the team and support the client facing teams in achieving their engagement objectives through provision on high quality data research.
 

Requirements

• 8-10 years previous Research experience
• MBA or relevant Research qualifications
• Cross-industry experience
• Consulting experience (Big 4, Booz & Co, McKinsey & Co, BCG or other reputable Strategy Consulting Houses)
• Strong communication skills, in particular in report writing
• Should be outcome focused and results oriented
• Previous experience in managing staff and demonstrating leadership skills
• Self motivation to take initiative for personal growth and development
