MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree either in Mathematics/Physics with Computer Science or Computer Science or Software Engineering or Systems Analysis and Design or Information Technology or Statistics [Computing Option] or Computer Engineering or any other relevant qualification in Systems Analysis/Design/Development from a recognized University/Institution.

POST : INFORMATION OFFICER (1 VACANCY)

AGE : 21 YEARS AND ABOVE

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree Mass Communication or Journalism or related course majoring in Information Management and Research from a recognized University/Institution. 

POST : DISASTER MANAGEMENT OFFICER

SALARY: UGANDA GOVERNMENT SCALE U4

AGE : 21 YEARS AND ABOVE

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Arts or Social Sciences or Development Studies or Social Work and Social Administration from a recognized University/Institution.

Knowledge of disaster risk reduction will be an added advantage. He/she should posses the following competencies; effective communication, negotiation and mediation skills, judgment, decision making and problem solving skills, political acuity/ingenuity, public relations and customer care, time management, ethics and integrity, teamwork, information communication technology.

Applications should be submitted in triplicate on Public Service Form No. 3 (2008) to theSecretary, Public Service Commission, P. O. Box 7080, Kampala to be received not later than Friday 18th January 2013.
