FINCA International is looking for a Manager Development Program - Malawi. The incumbent will be able to gain experience in all aspects of microfinance operations from loan origination to branch management in one of FINCA subsidiaries.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Manage projects of strategic importance and have the opportunity to use his/her individual skills, knowledge, and expertise to build institutional capacity and contribute to the strengthening and expansion of the subsidiary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent and 3 to 5 years work experience in commercial, retail banking or other finance field. MA or MBA desired but not required;
- Experience in the application of Six Sigma methodology, preferably in a commercial, retail banking or other finance field. Greenbelt training and certification highly preferred;
- Extensive experience with process mapping and process re-engineering required;
- Knowledge of Visio and other relevant software applications required;
- Previous field experience in developing countries required, preferably in the region of assignment;
- Study/initial work experience in the microfinance, finance and/or development fields highly desirable.
