S/he will be responsible for maintaining and documenting subsidiary policies and procedures and documenting and coordinating action plans when they are not compliant with network policy framework (subsidiary general policy manual).

S/he will be responsible for maintaining and documenting subsidiary policies and procedures and documenting and coordinating action plans when they are not compliant with network policy framework (subsidiary general policy manual).
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating policy development and ensuring that policies and functional manuals are updated on an ongoing basis;
- Ensuring that new or modifications to policies are communicated and distributed timely to relevant staff;
- Continually monitoring and developing systems to assure understanding of policy updates by staff; Standardizing functional policy manuals and maintain in appropriate languages;
- Coordinating regular reviews (annually) of operational policies for compliance with subsidiary general policy manual (SGPM);
- Documenting noncompliance and working with functional managers for policy compliance;
- Assisting subsidiary management at all levels in developing and implementing best practice policies and procedures. Develop policies and procedures when necessary;
- Serving as research specialist for best practice policy standards;
- Establishing policy manual library and be contact point for current policy manuals for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or relevant qualification in Credit or Finance;
- Minimum 5 years of work experience, preferably in financial services policy review or public policy
- Demonstrated skill in drafting policies;
- Ability to draw process maps, which mirror logical steps of process;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Visio is a must. Proficiency with other Office applications is desirable;
- Excellent presentation skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chichewa.
