IS Manager - FINCA Uganda

About the Job: 
FINCA International is looking for an IS Manager - FINCA Uganda. S/he will oversee the FINCA IS department, and will provide technical and administrative support for IS applications and IS infrastructure across head office and branches of FINCA Uganda.

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

• Develop a portfolio of IT services that support the goals of the organization, deliver value and achieve a positive ROI;
• Develop strategies and action plans to align technology to business processes of the company;
• Analyze business requirements and translate into technology solutions;
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures related to information technology based on FINCA’s global IS policies;
• Measure, monitor, and optimize IT services and good performance of the area as a service provider;
• Develop, implement, and maintain information security plan and business continuity plan.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or related fields;
• Over 3 years of experience at management positions in IT;
• Over 4 years of experience in implementation and support of IT systems;
• Experience in management of IT projects;
• Basic knowledge in finance and accounting;
• Experience with Windows family operating systems.
