USAID Lead Administrative Officer


The position is located in the Office of Security (SEC), Office of the Director (OD). SEC/OD manages the administrative services for office to include Human Resources, Information Technology, Budget, Procurement, Space planning, Records Management, and Travel.  As the Lead Administrative Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for all budget activities for SEC to include budget formulation, execution, and justification. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the Salaries and Benefits account for SEC and representing the office at agency meetings.  The position also requires the incumbent to serve as the Team Lead to the Administrative Management Services Team.  In this capacity the incumbent will lead the work of a group of professions ranging from GS-7 to GS-13.  As Team Lead the incumbent will assign, monitor, and review work products of the team coordinating priorities to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned tasks.  

    KEY REQUIREMENTS


  • U.S. Citizen or national
  • Relevant experience (see Qualifications below)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Males born after 12/31/1959, must be registered with the Selective Service
  • Direct Deposit/Electric Funds Transfer is required
  • USAID employee serving under tenure code "1" as stated on most recent SF-50
