Manager Capital Management Abu Dhabi
Role Summary:
Support the Group Director Capital Management in analyzing and developing detailed capital plans, including capital structure optimization, WACC calculation and review, support in M&A projects, funding requirements and Credit Rating reviews.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Perform capital structure assessments based on the applicable Tax and FX rules in respective countries
- Manage capital structure of Group and Operating Companies (OpCos) according to approved policies and guidelines
- Calculations and periodic reviews of WACCs for all the OpCos
- Focal person for Mergers & Acquisition projects from Finance, providing support in Financial, Accounting, tax due diligence, structure and valuation etc..
- Conduct short- & long-term financing planning
- Investments and Return Analysis
- Build and manage credit rating agency relationships
- Annual Credit Rating Review by the Credit Rating Agencies
- Backup role for BoD meetings and other finance related operational support to Commercial, Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions and Technical department
Generic Accountabilities:
- Provide advice and assist in the implementation of the Finance strategy in area of responsibility across the Group
- Conduct analysis for the optimization and streamlining of specified processes to support the enhancement of functional performance and efficiency
- Collate and review drafts of the financial and manpower budget for area of responsibility
Desired Skills & Experience
Formal Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Economics, Finance, Accounting, etc
Related Professional Training, Certification or Membership:
Relevant professional Accounting qualification/ certification (CIMA, ACA, CPA, ACCA, etc). MBA is a plus.
Years & Field of Experience required:
6 to 8 years of experience, involving corporate finance advisory and financial planning and analysis responsibilities in a reputable banking/ financial services firm, telecommunications company or other multinational organization, including most recent 3 years in a managerial role.
