Chemonics seeks experienced technical experts for an anticipated International Forestry Service research and development project that will facilitate and deliver conservation-based forestry practices to target countries around the world. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for learning and making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
We are looking for a wide range of skillsets including:
- Natural resources and conservation
- Sustainable forestry
- Governance and policy development
- Disaster response and mitigation
- Administration of complex natural resources programs in foreign settings
- Database development and management
- Training and communications specialists
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field required
- Minimum six years of professional work experience in protected area management and biodiversity conservation or a related field
- Experience in training professionals and project management
- Experience working in different cultures and in diversity training
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- English fluency required; fluency in additional languages preferred (specifically, Russian, French, Spanish, Arabic, and Portuguese)
