We are seeking to recruit an experienced high calibre individual to fill the position of Marketing Assistant. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the role holder will play a key role in supporting the implementing of in-country marketing, communication and business development initiatives.
The role
The key responsibilities will include:
- Assist in organising and execution of internal and external marketing events
- Provide support in the various industry groups within the firm to profile service offerings
- Assist in ensuring delivery on all client initiatives by the firm and respective lines of service
- Assist in brand compliance and correct brand identify for the firm internally and externally
- Provide support in execution of strategies to ensure brand adherence mainly through training and brand audits
- Assist in ensuring getting on-line content on firm’s website
- Provide support in media liason responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the team on the day to day operations
The successful candidate will be required to have the following qualification and demonstrable skills, competencies and experience:
- University degree in social sciences, marketing or in a related field from a recognised institution
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and client-handling skills
- High energy and proactive person
- Experience of working independently, as well as in a team environment
- Track record of project management
