(1) LEGAL COUNSELS – 2 POSTS
Qualifications
· Have at least 2 years post Admission working experience in a busy law firm
.· Have a current practicing Certificate
.· Be computer literate.
· Fluency in written and spoken English and Swahili languages.
· Be proactive, self motivated and aggressive.
· Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
.· Have the ability to work in a team.
· Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and have ability to handle pressure.
· Have the ability to work with minimum or no supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Formulate legal defenses and prosecution strategies for cases in which the firm undertakes.
· Draft prescribed legal forms, pleadings, submissions and other documents in the manner that safeguard the firm.
· Draft, vet and negotiate contracts between the firm and other parties.
· Attend court cases on behalf of the firm.· Provide legal opinion and advice as required by superiors.
· Perform other duties related to the above as may be assigned by the superiors.
(2) PERSONAL SECRETARY GRADE II- 1 POST
Qualifications
· Holder of National Form IV/VI Certificate and Secretarial Certificate (Typing Stage III) and shorthand (English and Kiswahili) at a speed of 80 words per minute.
· Fluency in written and spoken English and Swahili languages
.· Computer literacy Certificate (microcomputer Applications and Ms Publisher) from a recognized Institution
.· At least three years working experience with a reputable employer.
· Demonstrable track record in the work performance.
· Disciplined, credible, industrious, interactive, integrative and self-driven personality.
Duties and Responsibilities
· To type and handle various documents for the Firm
· To ensure files, correspondence and mails coming in and out of the office are in order
.· To keep a record of movements of files, correspondence and mails in the office.
· To handle confidential and important documents at the Firm.
· To file and index all in-coming and out-going correspondence and mails in the office.
· To ensure office equipments and machines in his/her custody are well maintained.
· To act as personal assistant to the Managing Partner of the Firm.
· Receive visitors and direct them accordingly.
· Submit official directives to the relevant officers.
· Arrange and organize meetings.
· Prepare list of office requirements and submit the same to the proper officer.
· To carry out any other related duties as may be assigned by the superiors.
(3) DRIVER- 2 POSTS
Qualifications
· Holders of National Form IV Certificate and a valid Driving License preferably Class “C”.
· At least three years working experience with a reputable employer.
· Accident-free record for the last three immediate consecutive years.
· Possession of Trade Test Grade II Certificate from VETA or any other reputable institution and fluency in both English and Swahili will be an added advantage.
· Disciplined, credible, industrious, interactive, integrative and self-driven personality
· Demonstrable track record in the work performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
· To drive Bulwark Associates Advocates’ motor vehicles.
· To ensure that vehicles and their attached accessories are clean all the time.
· To maintain and keep up to date log books on movement of the vehicles.
· To keep motor vehicles in good running condition.
· To carry out any other related duties as may be assigned by the superiors.
· Demonstrable track record in the work performance.
(4) OFFICE ATTENDANTS- 2 POSTS
Qualifications
· Holders of National Form IV certificate.
· At least three years of working experience in the relevant field.
· Disciplined, credible, industrious, interactive, integrative and self-driven personality.
· Demonstrable track record in the work performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
· To clean and tide the office and its surroundings
· To originate requisitions for cleaning materials
· To operate office working tools
· To deliver outgoing mails
· To perform any other related duties as assigned by the superiors.
