Director- Advisory (Financial Services- Technology)

The PricewaterhouseCoopers Middle East Financial Services Industry Group is a regional business advisory, audit and tax practice that can help an organisation turn challenges into opportunities. We provide audit, technical accounting, tax, actuarial regulatory, compliance, risk management, performance improvement, outsourcing, securities processing, payments, information risk and security, data quality, M&A and other services.

Currently, PricewaterhouseCoopers Middle East Financial Services Industry Group is looking to hire a Director to join the Advisory team who will lead and develop Banking Technology assignments.
 

Requirements include:

• 10-15 years of international consulting and banking experience
• Bachelors degree required with emphasis on Business and Finance
• MBA qualified preferred
• Appropriate certification preferred (CPA, CA or CISA)
• Must have industry experience and knowledge of advanced concepts in retail and corporate banking (not investment banking)
• Big 4 professional services background is preferred
• Arabic Speaking candidate preferred
• Supporting decision making at a senior level and be able to demonstrate a track record of implementation success, achieving savings and over coming various challenges
• Excellent communication/ influence skills required, including reports, presentations and group facilitation skills
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to develop professional relationships and network internally and externally

The Role:

• Working with the clients business units in developing their technology business processes and procedures (IT applications, IT strategies, IT Architectures)
• Manage engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, billing, account receivables, and deliverable content.
• Able to manage and execute mutiple complex projects within required timelines and expectations
• Working knowledge of information technology, particulary how systems and applications integrate with business processes and operations 
• Adding value by delivering work that meets or exceeds expectations and is able to overcome challenges
• High degree of problem solving skills, coupled with ability to develop creative approaches, models and systems
• Make client recommendations by providing value adding insight to improve efectiveness across processes, people, technology with emphasis on integrity and excellence.
