Join our brand new East Africa regional team and you will help us build on what we have achieved in our 30-year history – changing the way people think about water and sanitation, and putting these issues higher on the agenda than they have ever been. This way, you will help us transform lives of millions of vulnerable people in this region and beyond, as you bring about change that has never been seen in the region before.
You will support both the Regional Programme Manager and the Regional Advocacy Manager in regional programme administration, planning, development, effectiveness, quality assurance, learning reporting and overall assessment of WaterAid’s impact in the region. This will involve but will not be limited to producing reports, assisting in budget making processes, production of planning documents and ongoing tracking, analysis and evaluation of programmes as well as organizing and hosting regional events and conferences.
With degree level qualification, you must have wide experience in management of administrative processes in a busy corporate office situation, experience and/or knowledge of the developments in the sector (water and sanitation) as well as superior report writing, project planning, financial planning and monitoring skills.
Additionally you will have strong oral and written communication skills backed by strong research skills. You will also be having demonstrable ability to deal with qualitative and quantitative information, initiative, team skills and ability to multi-task.
