Catholic Relief Service South Sudan Program wishes to recruit highly competent, proactive and self-driven persons (South Sudanese National only) to fill the following positions, to be based in Juba South Sudan.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Provide skills in performing complex and difficult purchasing duties in the Procurement Section, in order to procure goods and services necessary for the operation of the CRS South Sudan Program, as a supportive member of the multi-cultural Management Quality team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receiving the Requisition Vouchers from the consumers for procurement purposes from CRS South Sudan, Field based offices.
- Requesting the quotations from the suppliers and bidding them in terms of price, quality, lead-time etc.
- Preparing the purchase orders and procuring spare parts Receiving all the GRNs and forwarding them for payment requisitions to various departments.
- Preparing purchase orders and procuring stationery for CRS - South Sudan
- Facilitates repair of the motor vehicles by procuring services if the service is to be done by non CRS staff.
- Filling the copies of the LPO, GRN and RVs for reference.
- Faxing all the LPOs awarded to the suppliers and making sure they adhere to CRS specifications and standard.
- Tracking payment requisition vouchers and making sure the payment is done to the suppliers.
- Liaise with the motor vehicles parts dealers in terms of parts superstition and informing the consumers on the change.
- Procuring the services incase of motor vehicle major repairs done by non CRS Staff.
- Tracking partial deliveries.
§ Perform any related duties and responsibilities as required.
§ Assist in the preparation of the international purchase bids.
§ Assist in the stores Management when /if need arises.
§ Assist in procurement when/if need arises.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience
§ A BA/BS degree in administration or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
§ Five years of progressive experience in commercial purchasing, inventory accounting, inventory storage systems and/or surplus and salvage programs to acquire knowledge of products, vendors, markets, procurement and/or inventory procedures within a complex organizational structure.
§ Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with staff, vendors, outside agencies, general public, government officials
§ Ability to work with a multicultural team
§ Knowledge of procurement, contract and supply chain management.
§ Good communication skills including the ability to make clear and concise presentations.
§ Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
§ Ability to operate assigned equipment and write reports
§ Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel)
