We are seeking an experienced researcher with a proven ability to direct field research and write up results for our Fiji, Madagascar & Tanzania Marine Research Programmes to begin throughout 2012.
The successful candidate will have a good MSc or a PhD in a relevant environmental discipline and evidence of publications is beneficial. Further to this experience in underwater marine survey techniques, biodiversity or conservation research experience, ideally in a tropical setting is crucial.
The role will include developing and implementing the research programme, involving the daily supervision of volunteer Research Assistants, data collection and analysis, and report-writing.
