The person will be responsible for developing and achieving subscriber goals and developing distribution channel strategies. Direct interaction with Management, Finance, Marketing, Operations, IT teams, and key decision-makers at all levels within the organization.
The Channel Development Manager reports to the General Manager.
Responsibilities
The Channel Development Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, developing, and tracking all aspects of device distribution programs to support enablement / selling to the channel and to drive sell-through of the DSTV Mobile service in the channel.
Experience / Qualifications
- Marketing degree from a recognized University.
- 5 - 7 years of channel development / marketing experience in related industries, including a minimum of 3 years experience in device marketing and distribution.
- Proven success in driving sell-thru in the channel and growing channel sales through innovative marketing strategies and programs.
- Proven track record in managing budgets and successfully negotiating the use of funds in account activities.
- In-depth understanding of how channels work and how to effect change quickly within the channel.
- Strong analytic skills, Attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork and project management skills required.
- Proven track record in working effectively with cross functional groups, sales organizations, and operations.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
- Computer skills & excellent communication skills.
