VOCATIONAL TEACHER IN CARPENTRY AND JOINERY

E&E provides a high-quality technical/vocational education which enables low-income youth to get on a life path that leads to economic security, enabling them to support their families and contribute to the economic and social development of their communities.  

                                              

To achieve these goals, E&E has established 10 small-scale, on-campus enterprises which will be run by teachers and students and sell goods and services in the local market. These enterprises serve as platforms for students to gain practical and entrepreneurial skills and put classroom learning into practice. At the same time, the enterprises are the means by which the social enterprise earns income through the sale of goods and services in the local market and become financially self-sustaining.

Vision: To promote an entrepreneurial spirit in vulnerable youths through a technical education that empowers them to overcome poverty in their lives and in their communities.

Mission: To promote rural development by providing a first-class agricultural technical and business education to low-income students. Additionally, the education must pay for itself through profits from the social enterprise’s activities, thereby creating a financially sustainable and independent program.

VOCATIONAL TEACHER IN CARPENTRY AND JOINERY -2 Posts

·         Skills- At least 3 years experience in the carpentry teaching as well as practical.

o   Competent in industruail machinery use for joinery works.

o   Self motivated,hard worker, innovative and creative in business aspects

o   Experience in market sell and market oriented vision, work for goal vision 

o   Team working and open mind and flexibility

o   Proactive vision of market, school and business

Qualifications: A minimum of Form IV Secondary school Education with credit passes in Science/
Technical subject and English Language or its equivalent,

 Holder of FTC in Civil Engineering, Diploma or Degree in Technical Education in the relevant field
